1984

1984 es el título de una novela política de ficción distópica, escrita por George Orwell entre 1947 y 1948 y publicada el 8 de junio de 1949. La novela introdujo los conceptos del omnipresente y vigilante Gran Hermano, de la notoria habitación 101, de la ubicua policía del pensamiento y de la neolengua, adaptación del inglés en la que se reduce y se transforma el léxico con fines represivos, basándose en el principio de que lo que no está en la lengua, no puede ser pensado.

Después de muchas idas y vueltas, pude empezar a leer este libro.  Solamente quería comentarlo.

About Twitter

Ayer, en la mateada organizada por Flor!, recorde que tenia Twitter. Y como Abby me dijo que estaba bueno, lo empece a usar, para ver que onda.

Al principio, una bosta andante, o mejor dicho, no andante: lo unico que veia era la ballenita esa con toooodos los pajaritos levantandola. Mejoren el server, nenes!!!

Despúes, me acorde de un video que vi en youtube, y que me causo mucha gracia.

Estoy bastante de acuerdo.

Es decir, tengo Twitter, y lo critíco: Así es. 

La critica es para la gente fundamentalista de Twitter, esa que no pueden hacerse un té sin escribirlo.

[Nota mental: nunca poner en Twitter "tomando un te"]

Recently one of my friends, a computer wizard, paid me a visit. As we were talking I mentioned that I had recently installed Windows on my PC, I told him how happy I was with this operating system and showed him the Windows CD. Too my astonishment and distress he threw it into my micro-wave oven and turned it on. I was upset because the CD had become precious to me, but he said: 'Do not worry, it is unharmed.' After a few minutes he took the CD out, gave it to me and said: 'Take a close look at it.' To my surprise the CD was quite cold and it seemed to have become thicker and heavier than before. At first I could not see anything, but on the inner edge of the central hole I saw an inscription, in lines finer than anything I have ever seen before. The inscription shone piercingly bright, and yet remote, as if out of a great depth:

Tango Feroz

Ayer me preguntaron si vi Tango Feroz. La vi. Pero hace mucho, y no me puedo acordar demasiadas cosas. Así que ahora la voy a tener que bajar, eh, perdón, comprar para verla y recordarla.

Sin otro particular, atte. los videos (esto no tiene sentido , no no no no no no ).

No es la versión de la peli, pero me gustó.

No se que tiene que ver esto, pero Fernán Mirás me cae bien.

Link a un momento especifico en YouTube

Me acabo de enterar (capaz que salio en los diarios, pero yo soy bastante colgado) que YouTube ahora permite poner links específicos a un momento de un video. Lo que me parece genial, ya que sino tenes que andar diciendo: "Anda al XX:XX y fijáte". Y la persona curiosa tiene que ir tanteando hasta encontrar el lugar que quería.

Bueno, la cosa es así. Ubicas la dirección de video, como siempre, y agregas al final del vídeo lo siguiente

• "#t=XmYs": Donde la X son los minutos, y la Y los segundos a donde querés mandar el link

Ejemplo ilustrativo (?):
Supone que quiero que veas donde empieza el solo de guitarra del tema Comfortably Numb, de Floyd.

Primero busco el video que quiero: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YQWszrZHBPI
